This page explains how to delete the data held by PCOS Weight Loss, published by ICHIME COMPANY LIMITED, and what is kept afterwards.
1. Delete everything from inside the app
The app has no account with a name, email address or password, so there is nothing to sign in to and nothing to request from us — the delete control is in the app itself:
Open PCOS Weight Loss.
Tap the settings icon in the top right of the Today screen.
Scroll to Delete my data.
Type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete everything.
Uninstalling the app also removes everything stored on the device.
2. What this deletes
Every meal you have logged, with its photo-derived nutrition and score
Every quick log — water, sleep, mood, energy, cravings — and your cycle and symptom history
Your profile and targets (age, height, weight, activity level, target weight)
Your streak
Any scheduled reminders
Your anonymous sign-in, and with it the scan-count record described below
All of the above except the anonymous sign-in is stored only on your device. We never had a copy of it.
3. What is kept, and for how long
Meal photos: not retained by us at all. A photo you scan is sent to our server and on to OpenAI to be identified, and is written nowhere on our side. OpenAI's own retention for API inputs is described in their terms and is not ours to control or promise.
Scan-count records: up to 24 hours. While you have an anonymous sign-in, our server records the times of your recent scans against it, so that no single device can run up unlimited cost on the scanning service. These records contain nothing but timestamps, are limited to a rolling 24-hour window, and expire on their own. Deleting your data in the app deletes the anonymous sign-in that they are attached to.
Anonymous analytics and crash reports: retained by Firebase under Google's own retention settings. These contain no meals, symptoms, weight or cycle information, and are not tied to any account you own.
4. Your subscription is separate
Deleting your data does not cancel a PCOS Pro subscription. Subscriptions are held by the store you bought from, not by us — manage or cancel one in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions on Android, or in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on iOS.
